Torleif Markussen Lunde posted about his 2-year T-shirt Test, a small and “quiet experiment” he ran over the last 2 years to test the life-length of three different T-shirts. One from Livid (about $92), one from UNIQLO (about $12), and one from H&M (about $7). All were white/offwhite. He washed them weekly and they were all worn roughly 100 times each. The shirt that cost nearly $100 (+ most sustainably made) showed signs of wear in just 3-weeks and “the one that might shed microplastics, is the most durable” 💭
